Birth comb and balls

These little beauties work on hitting acupressure points in our hands, helping to dull (or just distract?) us from the pain during a contraction.

The balls I didn’t use very much, tried them in early labour but my contractions were so intense and the balls were so spiky that it actually just hurt my hand (and not in a helpful way) when I squeezed them.

The comb on the otherhand I used for the majority of my labour right up to birth.

Mine were purchased from Maia Mum, a New Zealand company.
